Juliette Marounek is a Senegalese-Belgian director and art director. She began her work in filmmaking by directing the opening video for Masego’s 2024 tour.

She is drawn to sincere imagery, everyday gestures, and raw emotional moments that emerge naturally in life.

Her first short film, Missing Pieces, premiered on Nowness. The film explores masculine vulnerability, grief, and memory through a poetic visual approach.
